Bible Design And Binding

I think I have a new favorite blog: Bible Design And Binding. This guy really loves his Bibles, and he really loves his Bibles to be constructed well.

It's hard to read his blog and not just want to go out and buy a bunch of new Bibles.

You could not possibly have posted this at a more opportune time for me! I have two books I need done. Thank you!

Enjoy! Mostly, he's reviewing Bibles -- not so much much on the content of the text and notes, but on the physical properties of the construction. He loves wide margins. He loves leather. He loves a book that will lay flat.

Every now and then, he's posted about taking a Bible with good interior qualities, but a binding that he hates, and getting it rebound. Those posts are really interesting.

That's a very neat blog.

It's hard to read his blog and not just want to go out and buy a bunch of new Bibles.

I especially enjoyed the September 30th post entitled "Giving Your Bible Away".

I've given a few Bibles away. And I'll probably give more away in the future.

And then, I'll have to replace them, right?

I think a good goal would be to give them away at least as fast as you replace them. Then we wouldn't have to build an addition to house them. :)
