Bob Dylan Covers

I don't think I've heard a version of Dylan's Don't Think Twice that I don't like. It's a great song, and every cover I've heard does it justice. I especially enjoy hearing Susan Tedeschi singing it.

Please don't take this as a challenge and try to introduce me to bad covers of the song.

Tony Rice did a good version of it.

but the best cover on that episode was Neil Young's cover of "Blowin' in the Wind", that's the best version of that song, evah!

Totally!

The only thing that could be better is if Meat Loaf covered it.

A Meat Loaf cover could be awesome. It definitely be the opposite of Neil Young's version. Meat Loaf's sheer epic nature would be the quite interesting compared to the quite minimalistic view Neil Young took with it. Which makes me wonder, has Meat Loaf done any covers? Apart from the Celine Dion one which was originally an epic attempt at the song, in which he pwned her with his version.

I don't know if Meat Loaf has done any covers. Maybe I should call Coverville and make Brian do the research....

And that Celine Dion song was written by Steinman, who writes most of Meat Loaf's stuff, so it's no wonder that it's epic. I think it was originally intended for Meat Loaf, but he didn't have an album in the works when it was written and it got shopped around and Dion picked it up.
