Rockin' On The Greenway

I took some time out of my Sunday School preparation today to head out for a little geocaching fun. Recently, I noticed that a travel bug that I had on my watch list, the Geocaching Poem Travel Bug, appeared in a local cache, Rockin' On The Greenway (GCDC73). I've been hoping to run across this bug for a while. I saw mention of it in a cache I visited several months ago and thought that it was a really cool idea. What they've done is take one of those metal containers that AOL discs are sometimes shipped in and turned it into a magnetic poetry kit, with words that are geocaching theme related. It's a really neat idea for a travel bug and I'll probably make one myself (I've already saved some AOL cases) if I ever get a set of travel bug tags for myself.

On an unrelated note, I'm really enjoying "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge," which I had originally turned on as background noise while poking about on the computer. I think it's probably got about a half-hour left, so I'm going to go over to the couch and enjoy the rest of the movie. This marks a couple of sappy movies that I've allowed myself to be sucked into lately. Oh, well. Call me a sap. And why did I originally decide to watch this movie? Because Brent Spiner was in it. I love Spiner in everything I've seen him in and am glad to see that he's not simply content to exist in the role of Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
