I'll have to keep that in mind in case I ever have an opportunity to preach on that.
The great news is that I've been looking at chapters six and seven of Job for over a week now without many ideas on how to present it to the class on Sunday. It's really falling together well now. I had originally planned to do both chapters at the same time, but I'm developing enough notes on chapter six that I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish talking about six and move into seven before time's up. I typically will cover two to four pages of notes per Sunday School lesson. I already have two pages of notes for chapter six, and they are very full pages. As in, I know that I'll be lecturing a great deal based on just a sentence or two that I wrote down. We'll see how it goes.
Needless to say, I find myself humbled and encouraged again. I'm almost to the point of thinking that I don't even need to show up -- God will teach these lessons to my Sunday School class with or without my help. I'm thankful, however, that I can be the instrument that He's currently using to do so.
