CSS: New Homepage Layout

Inspired by Sarah's blog layout, I finally took the time to force myself to learn a little bit about CSS. Mostly, I stole her stylesheet and modified it, but that's always been the way to learn how to do any web publishing, right?

Anyway, the result is a new format for my homepage. It might still have a few kinks (I know I need to go through the CSS page and remove some styles that I don't use, e.g.), but I think it's in pretty good shape. I'm much happier with the new layout, too. It was amazing to be able to get rid of all of the nasty "table" code I had embedded in the HTML, too.

It turned out that learning how to use CSS was a lot simpler than I thought it would be. The end result looks fine on all three Macintosh browsers on which I tested it. I'd appreciate it if you'd take a look at it when you get a chance and let me know if there's anything that doesn't work, or if there's anything that you particularly like. You can compare it to the old layout, too, if you want.

Bamboo Rocky

It's very impressive to hear someone play the theme from Rocky (you know, Gonna Fly Now) on a bamboo flute.

However, the theme from Rocky was never designed to be played on a bamboo flute. It's bizarre.
