Let's Just Sell The Same Song Twice

meep pointed this out -- from IgwanaRob:
Someone took Nickelback's first horrible song, and mixed it with their latest drek - having one song play through the left channel, and one through the right channel.
The intent was to show that Nickelback simply reuses their songs. Download the MP3 File and judge for yourself.

I like the mixed track best. More harmonies, more complexity. Maybe they could market it this way for a third time!

Agreed. I like the mixed track and think it's kinda cool. It's no big deal that they did another song with the same chord changes and all that. What I think is pretty cool is that the two songs kind of play off each other in a "call and response" sort of way when they're mixed together.

I think DJs should play the mix in clubs.

I bet Nickelback was just waiting for people to discover how awesome they really are. I mean, it took how many years for people to figure out that Pink Floyd based Dark Side of the Moon on The Wizard of Oz? Here we have a group basing a song around one of their own songs. This is mind-boggling.

That is really cool. I'm not a big fan of Nickleback, but I like them enough that I don't automatically change the station when they come on.
