It's great!
If you have any interest in country music (even a passing interest), there are tons and tons of fun things to do in Nashville. We ended up spending most of our weekend doing country music related things.
If you don't have an interest in country music, it's still great -- there are historic homes and other sites (including e.g. The Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson).
The city is a happening place, with lots of night life, lots of fun stuff to see and do. I'm already looking forward to a return trip sometime.
