Radio DTB: Now Featuring Voice Mail

Radio DTB
Yesterday, I posted the third episode of Radio DTB, a weekly podcast I've started that features live music from the Derek Trucks Band. Yes, I was 3.5 days late posting it. The most recent edition of Radio DTB focuses on songs from the most recent two DTB shows I attended: the two January shows in Annapolis, MD. If you're a fan of the DTB, I hope you'll check out my podcast and site. If you're specifically a DTB fan, but are a fan of good live music, you might enjoy checking it out, too.

In addition to a great web site, Radio DTB offers a RSS feed, complete with enclosures for the audio posts. Visit the site if you like, or just drop the RSS feed into your favorite news aggregator and enjoy. There is also a syndicated account for the benefit of LiveJournal user: radiodtb, but that account doesn't seem to include any of the podcast posts. My suspicion is that the LiveJournal syndication parser doesn't know how to (or doesn't want to) deal with enclosures in a valid RSS 2.0 feed. I've filed a support request, but I imagine it's a low-priority kind of thing for them.

And now for the really exciting news: Radio DTB now features voice mail. That's right, if you've got a question, comment, or request that you're dying to send to Radio DTB, and you'd rather use the telephone instead of using email or leaving a comment at the web site, I've got you covered. Just call 206-984-9487 and leave a message. I might include your message on an upcoming episode. The voice mail service is provided (for free) from K7 and I figured that I'd try it out and see how I liked it. So far, so good.
