Logged Out of LiveJournal

FYI, if you keep yourself logged into LiveJournal and rarely check to see if you're logged in or not, you're probably not logged in anymore. In the past week, as they've been addressing the security issue, they've logged everyone out at least twice. Check lj_dev for some of the details. One of the interesting things to come out of this is a page to manage your login sessions.

Another change you might notice (from lj_maintenance):
Another change you may notice this evening is that you will only see public entries when viewing another user's friends page. Your own friends page will continue to show the same content as it does today and will be the best place to read all the protected entries that are open to you. If you typically read content on the site on your own Friends' page or through a journal directly, you won't notice this change.
If you like to keep up with this sort of thing, you might want to be sure to watch status and lj_maintenance as well as news.

That is not the only place I read protected content, since I have not friended everyone who has friended me. I see protected entries on other friends pages, and friendsfriends. Huh. Thanks for the heads-up.

... and, of course, I was (surprise!) logged out. Dur.
