Today's Walk

Fate attempted to conspire against me for today's walk. First, I overslept -- largely due to the fact that I was up late last night watching The Godfather. But I dragged myself out of bed at 0630 and stumbled around for my shoes.

I should have got my boots out last night, because I had a hard time finding them this morning. I was about to settle on a back-up pair of sneakers I found, which probably would have been comfortable. I hadn't worn them in years, but they looked to be in good shape. Then, I found my boots and went ahead with my plan to use them. They were very comfortable for my walk.

I ended up doing the entire Latham Park trail in both directions today, instead of making a shortcut at the very end. As such, I'm guessing my walk was about 3 miles. It took a little less than an hour.

I feel great.
