We got home last night at about 2200 (having left Atlanta at about 1200). That wasn't ten hours of driving -- we stopped at almost every rest stop on northbound on I-85 and found a geocache, until the sun went down. We also had a leisurely supper at Cracker Barrel. I had a great time in Atlanta, but it sure was nice to sleep in my own bed, with my own pillow, last night. And to take a shower in my own shower, with familiar water pressure and temperature controls, this morning.
Now, the end-of-the-year crunch at work isn't going to be so great. But it is what it is.
