Marshall Brain Has A TV Show Now

My fellow NCSU Comp-Sci peeps might remember Marshall Brain. He taught me Perl one week, when he filled in and taught my data structures(?) class. He might be best know as the guy who invented HowStuffWorks.com. Anyway, the other day, yarbiedoll told me that she heard that has a TV show now. It's on the National Geographic Channel, and the first episode is tomorrow night.

I don't watch TV anymore, but I might check this one out.

I've always liked Marshall
I'm really digging his new 'blog' he (or his staff) has been writing (http://brainstuff.howstuffworks.com/) since howstuffworks was bought by Discovery. It's a fun and informative read.

Back in 2005, I wrote up my own brush with Marshall in my undergrad days (http://rambleon.org/2005/02/03/little-things/) I really dug the fact he was willing to talk to a freshman with a silly question. I've met few faculty really willing to do that. Good for him that he didn't stay long at NC State, bad for NC State.
