After my brother left to return to Maryland, I took a very, very short nap. Then, I hit the road and went to Raleigh for the third annual

I was exhausted by the time I got to Raleigh, so I must admit that I wasn't at my best. I almost didn't go, but I really enjoy catching up with my buddies from college -- they probably don't know how much I enjoy it -- and for most of them, this reunion is the only opportunity I take to do that. The reunion is always a time of anxiety for me for a couple of reasons. First, I'm pretty shy. Yeah, really, I am. I'm easily rattled in social situations. Second, I've got a terrible memory. There were more people at the reunion last week that knew who I was than I knew who they were. And for several of the people who I knew who they were, I couldn't remember their names. So I ended up latching on to the couple of people I'm most comfortable around and spending more time with them and less time with other folks. To those of you I didn't really chat with -- I apologize. Next year, especially if we have name tags, I promise to do better. Plus I'll try to be fully rested next time around.
After the reunion broke up, I headed on home and hunkered down for a night of catching up on sleep before a busy week at work.
